I’m Tam, a digital designer based in Tāmaki Makaurau, recently finished my Bachelor of Interaction Design at AUT.

I freelance across UX and graphic design, and I’ve been getting into AI-augmented workflows lately. Claude Design, Code, Cowork, seeing how these tools are changing the way designers and developers actually work together. Still figuring out what it all means, but I find it hard to look away.

Design, for me, isn’t about making things pretty. It’s about understanding what something needs to do and making sure the work actually serves that. I’d rather sit with a client’s problem for a while than jump to something that looks good but doesn’t fit.
